view of the forthcoming visit of English Foreign Minister Miguel A. Moratinos to Havana, we believe it is time to initiate the project based on discussions and observations of the International Virtual Congress against totalitarianism. We have therefore prepared a draft open letter attached, not as an expression of a group, association or movement but that the Cuban nation, partly enslaved on the island, partly scattered all over the world , raise your voice to those who continue to support as legitimate the regime in Havana.
And we are seeking the cooperation of the promoters of the Congress in reviewing the text and suggestions for additions or deletions necessary. We intend to make it reach as many organizations on the island and in exile and Cubans as much individually. All ask for your support for these approaches. If you have any suggestions, please let us know as soon as possible because time is short.
