True unfortunate day the man had to go: got something that told him he was looking at some unexpected but, as he said, completely obvious and desirable for its new purposes. This, he warned, was happy the man, but he did not want to leave and so, without leave of the stone. So he went and said goodbye with a heavy feeling of guilt.
- Goodbye, stone - said the man dropping a tear.
- ... - said the stone.
And the man departed.
took months, but the man never stopped thinking of the stone. What evening light would be coloring this morning the night? How would you feel? What would be streaming down the abandonment in which he, poor man, had plunged to seek personal success? Not take any more, and returned to where his stone.
- I'm back, stone!
- ... - said the stone.
This puzzled the man, the stone was the same, in the same place, without any hint of change, pain, aging even. Not surprised at all. Can he exist or not exist, go and die, and the stone is still there, giving the same answer.
Given this thought, man could not help it, he felt abandoned. And so, happily, is left to itself.
